I just got a new Galaxy S, and it synced all of the contacts I had saved to my SIM card. The phone shows every single contact twice, which is very annoying and difficult to read. For three months my computer is trying to installl one Windows update (for SQL server - KB2463332) and every day - failed. Help! My Dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree is Losing Tons of Leaves?

I've had my 2-3 year old Dwarf Meyer Lemon tree since winter, and generally have had no problems. There was a brief incident with scale, but that is now under control. The tree has blossomed and now is starting to produce lemons. But about two weeks ago, it started losing leaves like crazy. There are several lemons-to-be on the tree, two about the size of nickels and they seem okay, although some tinier ones have fallen off. There is no apparent cause for the sudden balding. Any ideas? I live in Oregon. Through the cold/rainy season I keep the tree indoors with a special light to make the tree think he is in sunny southern California. I moved him outside earlier this week in an attempt to stop the loss of leaves. So far it seems to be helping. Today I lost only 2 leaves, whereas indoors he was losing around 6 a day. Maybe he just needed some humid outdoor air? I have the tree potted in a soil recommended by my local garden center, mixed with a bit of the shavings that the tree was mailed to me in, as the potting instructions suggested. I don't know how the soil could be the cause of this issue though, since the tree has been in the same mix since November and has done well up until now. Any ideas of what could be causing the loss of leaves? Or suggestions on how to make it stop? Thank you!

All my vegetable plants' leaves seem to be steadily shrinking down to nothing. Whats going on?

I have several vegetable plants that I have in my garden. I have bean plants, okra, lemon gourd, bitter lemon and even papaya. All these plants we have grown well every year with great success. I live in Texas. They have all prospered despite the heat and I water them very well twice a day. I've seen leaves bigger than sombreros in the past. Now, for the first time it seems that these plants are shrinking. Their first leaves are all very large and healthy, but now it seems the leaves on the vines are shrinking gradually until the vine has no leaves at all. I have created a very strong structure with several strings that line it for support. The vines have plenty of support, plenty of sunlight, plenty of water, and I personally till the soil before I plant with various fertilizer and keep them well fertilized throughout their life spans. I am 69 years old and have grown plants since I was 8 in both India and America. I've never seen this problem before. We had some hail about 3 weeks ago but the leaves that could have been affected by it have already grown and are perfectly normal. Also, with the variety of my plants, I don't think it is a form of bug, but I am not discounting anything. Please respond. It hurts me to see my plants dying off like this. Some of my bitter lemons grew 2 feet long. I haven't even seen them that big in India. Now they stop growing at 4 inches. Please help.

Severely enlarged tonsils with no pain?

Me and everybody that knows me have agreed that my tonsils are probably the gnarliest, nastiest looking tonsils they've ever seen. Not pus wise. My left one is pretty in flamed and has signs of yellowish streaks on it. Weird not clumps or balls of food just like yellowish whitish streaks all over the tonsil but its not that noticeable unless i look real closely in the mirror. The left one is not the problem. Although the right is one is so huge that it is literally dipped into my throat probably halfway, well at least thats how it feels. It is one huge puffy not hard but firm tonsil but when it ends on the bottom is another pink colored firm fleshy tonsil looking growth. They are both the exact same size almost and same color texture almost as if it is made of the same tissue/tonsil. But it is one then it gets a little smaller and another tonsil-looking lump hanging from it in to my throat. It doesnt hurt at all ever, not even to swallow. But it does feel like I have something lodged in my throat and it feels irritating to swallow saliva because nothing makes the feeling go away. Eventually it goes away on its own for a little while and comes back. Then sometimes I have trouble breathing through my mouth so it seems. It hurts if I press on it from the outside under my chin on the side under my jaw like on the neck you can feel the right one since it is so inflamed. I cant really see no pus on the right one but the other day I gargled salt water with a few drops of lime juice and I coughed up to little mushy yellow balls. They looked like tonsil stones but when I saw them I immediately squooshed them with my fingers to feel the texture. They easily pulverized into a mashed potato like substance that smelled awful. These were probably tonsil stones, I dont know. But the problem remains the super huge right tonsil. That looks like a pair of testicles almost. Im 17 I used to smoke cigarettes for almost a year, stupid of me ******* myself up so young, came to my senses and stopped. Hopefully the damage hasnt been officially done and its far away from cancer of the throat. But still I want these gone. Ive been prescribed ampicillin, penicillin (oral & injection), amoxicillin, salt & lemon gargles nothing works. I even went to an ancient mexican healer that healed swollen tonsils by "breaking" some nerves in the neck and arm. (last resort) My father was healed that way and never had problems with his tonsils ever again. But it did not work on me. Some doctors recommend a tonsillectomy but honestly i dont want to get rid of my tonsils, not so much because I need them but Im the kind of person that doesnt like something being ripped out of his body unless its a life and death situation. So my stepmom and I were watching Anastasia and it reminded me a lot of a movie I saw a long time ago that I think was also called Anastasia, only it was pronounced Ah-nih-stah-zjuh. There's this one scene stuck in my mind where the main character (Assumably Anastasia) is starting to have feelings for this one dark-haired guy. However the antagonist of the movie disguises himself as a guy at the dance. In the disguise he had blond hair and I think he called himself Paul. In the climax, Paul either kidnaps Anastasia or the dark-haired guy and the person who isn't kidnapped finds them just as Paul is about to kill the person he kidnapped. I'm not 100% sure that this scene is in Anastasia though. Also, in the Anastasia movie I can't remember, there's a scene where Anastasia is trying to convince this women she's related to that she is the real Anastasia but the women turns her away. Almost in tears, Anastasia starts singing a song that the women recognizes as the song she used to sing to little Anastasia. I can't remember the name of this movie for the life of me. Chances of getting into top colleges?

I think when you come out of high school, you will be very successful with the schedule you have put together. I think you have legitimate shots at all of the schools (none of them are a shoo in though). With that being said, UMD is not a safety for anyone. It is probably one the most competitive and selective public universities in the U.S. There are few reasons, one being due to its convenient location near Washington D.C and the internship/job opportunities. I had a 3.94 and a 4.5 weighted GPA and was rejected by UMD, and I wasn't alone. UMD seems to reject even some of the kids with very good statistics. My friend who got a full ride to MIT also got rejected by UMD, just to give you an idea of how outrageously competitive UMD is.
