I need PHPadmin help!?

Please help me, I want to cry my balls out. Before switching hosts I backed up my website database. I backed up the entire database, not all the tables. How do I restore my database now? It doesn't let me restore it, I always get errors. Is there anyway to convert that database .sql to all my tables .sql? Because I need to restore all the tables in the new database. Not a database in a database. And I don't have access to my old host! Please help, and sorry if I am confusing.
