Why does my Galaxy S show all of my contacts twice?
I just got a new Galaxy S, and it synced all of the contacts I had saved to my SIM card. The phone shows every single contact twice, which is very annoying and difficult to read. Each one has a small SIM card icon next to the name, then the duplicate has a small person icon next to it. Some even have a third repeat with a Google symbol next to it. I would like to know how I can get the thing to show everyone just once. So far I hate this phone. Everything is overly complicated, every time I go into a new menu it wants an email address and a password, or a subscription, or membership, or needs to sync with one thing so it can sync with something else, etc. I miss phones with actual buttons, that made calls and that was it. Any help is much appreciated. I can't seem to understand all of this new technology and its' countless goofy, undescriptive names for everything. I can program in SQL, but this darn phone is like alien technology and the opposite of user-friendly. Thanks in advanced.
