What should i do with my poison ivy?

Ok so last Wednesday (April 6, 2011) i did a service project in the woods and i got poison ivy. I am HIGHLY allergic to it. It started to blister a day or two after. At this point my whole under-forearm is swollen from it. It has been almost a week now, first i was using demoborom ( http://www.bayercare.com/domeboro.cfm ) to help dry it. I am now taking prendisone ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000091/ ) every day. I have also been wrapping it in gauze to help catch the puss coming out. Its' not as nearly swollen any more and the blisters are starting to go away. What should i do? Should i just let air get to it, should i keep wrapping it, is there another medicine that would help? Any help is appreciated.
