Urine smells like maple syrup?

so my urine smells like maple syrup, last week it smelled like bacon for 3 days (you can save the breakfast jokes, i told them all already). I shower daily, I am 26 and this has never happened before. I took the test you can buy at walmart that tests your vagina for bacteria and it came back negative. I have not eaten anything weird and I stopped smoking 2 weeks ago but I stopped cold turkey. I have had a cold and yesterday I started taking Thermaflu. I am not a big fan of candy so i do not eat much of it. I also have not eaten bacon since I stopped smoking because I no longer like the taste of it, or of much else. do not bother telling me about a href="http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000373.htm" rel="nofollow"http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/…/a I do not have any of the symptoms listed. I am not sure if it is my urine or my vagina itself. I wash daily, I do not change soaps, laundry soap, or shaving creams. any other suggestions as to why this is happening would be great. Thank you!
